From www.aicd.com.au: The AICD’s 2024-25 Not-For-Profit Governance and Performance Study indicates that three-quarters of directors believe their organisations effectively achieve their purpose, despite challenges in addressing climate risks and cyber security threats.

While 74% of NFP directors discuss environmental, social, and governance issues annually, over half have not acted on climate-related risks, and nearly 20% reported a cyber security breach in the past year.

The study highlights governance maturity within the sector, with increased director remuneration and a growing scholarship program to support NFP leaders.
