He highlighted the need for a paradigm shift that includes an holistic view of businesses incorporating both financial and non-financial data to support sustainable decision-making.

Bacchus called for collaboration among accountancy bodies and regulators globally to address challenges and improve the accuracy and trustworthiness of ESG data.
