From www.pwc.com.au: The Australian Taxation Office has released an updated Supplementary Annual GST Return (SAGR) for large businesses and multinationals, set to take effect from the 2024-25 financial year.

This new SAGR includes enhanced instructions, an expanded structure with 15 questions across eight sections, and focuses on governance and compliance with GST assurance ratings.

Taxpayers are advised to promptly address ATO recommendations, assess their GST governance, and maintain objective evidence to support their SAGR submissions.
