From asic.gov.au: The RBA and ASIC have expressed serious concerns about the ASX’s management of operational risk following the CHESS batch settlement failure on December 20, 2024.

The RBA has reassessed ASX’s compliance with financial stability standards and downgraded its rating to “not observed,” while ASIC has mandated a technical review of the CHESS system to address ongoing operational resilience issues.

Both regulators require immediate remediation actions to prevent further regulatory measures.
