From www.hcamag.com: Two hairdressing salons in western Sydney face legal action for allegedly failing to comply with a Fair Work Commission order to pay compensation of $14,678 and $1,541 in superannuation to an unfairly dismissed apprentice.

The Fair Work Ombudsman is seeking a court order to enforce this payment, after attempts at voluntary compliance were unsuccessful.

The case, resulting from a declaration of unfair dismissal due to retaliatory actions related to employee rights inquiries, is set for a directions hearing on February 19, 2025.
