From cgw.com.au: The Fair Work Commission found that Visual Thing Australia required an employee, Ms. Chin, to work a 40-hour week unreasonably, violating the Fair Work Act, which stipulates that full-time employees should not be required to work more than 38 hours per week unless the extra hours are reasonable.
The court determined that Ms. Chin’s consistent two hours of overtime each week were excessive given her role and that she was not compensated for this overtime, which added to the unreasonableness of the requirement.
