From www.smartcompany.com.au: The Coalition proposes a new tax deduction of up to $20,000 for small businesses to cover meal and entertainment expenses, which aims to support the hospitality sector during tough economic times.

Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor claims the plan is carefully targeted, exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax, and will not contribute to inflation.
