From www.themandarin.com.au: The Coalition has announced plans to end flexible work policies for Australian public servants, arguing that these arrangements undermine productivity and service.
Jane Hume, the Coalition’s public service spokesperson, has said that public servants should work from the office five days a week, although exceptions may be made.
Current flexible work arrangements were established through service-wide bargaining and remain in effect until 2027, posing challenges to the proposed changes.
