From www.ifa.com.au: ASIC’s recent proposal to publish dashboards with reportable situations and internal dispute resolution data may lead to under-reporting by Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holders, according to industry experts.

Assured Support managing director Sean Graham expressed concerns that the public nature of the reporting could discourage firms from being transparent, resulting in incomplete data for the regulator.

He suggested a more anonymous approach to reporting to avoid negative implications, particularly for larger firms with higher complaint volumes.
