From www.themandarin.com.au: ASIC has formed a Simplification Consultative Group to streamline regulatory compliance and reduce burdens on businesses, directors, and consumers.

ASIC chair Joe Longo has acknowledged the complexities of the current regulatory environment and the need for input on ways to simplify compliance.

The group, comprised of members from various organizations, aims to produce a discussion paper for public comment later this year.
