The recommendations urge businesses to enhance their sanctions due diligence procedures and ensure contracts include protective clauses against potential sanctions breaches.

Additionally, the Australian Government is encouraged to escalate sanctions pressures on Russian and Iranian officials while considering amendments to existing laws to improve enforcement.
