From jws.com.au: The ACCC’s 2025 compliance and enforcement priorities will focus on sectors such as supermarkets, utilities, aviation, digital platforms, consumer electronics, and surcharge practices, particularly in relation to misleading pricing and conduct harmful to small businesses.

The commission will also emphasize addressing cartels, environmental issues, unfair terms, and product safety.

Businesses are advised to conduct compliance training and operational audits to prepare for significant changes, including a new merger regime set to begin in 2026.
