From www.msn.com: A Sydney man has been fined $1.8 million by Australia’s Federal Court for illegally preparing and lodging 3,300 tax returns over four years without being a registered tax agent.

The court found that his actions were deliberate and aimed at financial gain, and resulted in the concealment of income from the Australian Taxation Office.

Evidence was given that he earned $1.6 million, an average of $500 for each income tax return he prepared and lodged.
