From www.aumanufacturing.com.au: Perth-based Australian Winders transformed its business model from global maintenance and field services to manufacturing industrial motor coils due to the impacts of the COVID pandemic.
Director Tony O’Brien noted that this strategic shift was driven by the need to adapt to a closed-off Western Australia, resulting in significant investments and successful projects, including manufacturing Roebel bars.
The company anticipates substantial growth in turnover, projecting an increase from approximately $10 million to $30 million by 2030, while also establishing a manufacturing presence in Malaysia and expanding its market reach in the South Pacific and Southeast Asia.
